the “new” new town: exhibition in Venice

May-Nov 2023 | co-curator | exhibition as part of Time Space Existence 2023.

THE “NEW” NEW TOWN is a study of current urban conditions in Hong Kong, based on the work of the MSc in Urban Design programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Through historical analysis, data-driven mapping and community engagement activities in different generations of Hong Kong’s new towns, we document the territory’s unique high-density and mixed-use planning conditions and their impact on the quality of urban life.

This exhibition is produced by the Chinese University of Hong Kong’s MSc in Urban Design programme, in collaboration with AECOM.
